Brandon Aiyuk is realizing that he may not be able to secure the high-paying contract he desires.

While the New England Patriots are reportedly considering offering Aiyuk more than $30 million per season, no other team, including the Pittsburgh Steelers, seems prepared to meet the star 49ers wide receiver's salary demands. According to the most recent update, the Steelers plan to offer less than $28 million.

If I were Aiyuk, I would have taken the Patriots' offer.

In his first interview following his suspension by the NFL for betting on his team, former Indianapolis Colts cornerback Isaiah Rodgers Sr. argues that, although bets were placed from his account, they were for others' benefit, not his own.

The bets, which included a $1,000 prop bet and many lesser ones, were allegedly placed using Rodgers' online sports gambling account. He said they were tailored to Floridians, as the state did not permit internet sports betting yet.

personally, I think the 49ers having the best odds should even be there. I think the Bills will make it to the Super Bowl but will lose to the Ravens. Yeah, its wishful thinking but would be nice to see some new blood.
