I was looking into the amounts that people place in sportsbooks- if there was an average that we can determine. I saw this article https://gamingnewshouse.com/2024/03/08/gmbl-news/cat-sbet/what-is-the-average-sports-bet-size-in-a-sportsbook/ and it says that the most common amount is at $10 or less at 28%, then bets that range from $10-$25 are the next at 26%.

Are you seeing the same averages in your sportsbook? What do you think about these figures? Just curious if the numbers are the same in your respective sportsbooks.

Getting insights on the sports betting industry from the bookie point of view never ends. Its how we get better.

I say the average is $10. That's what I use to bet on sports.

It's around $10 for me too. But during the finals part of the tournament (conference finals to Final game) the average tends to go up, around $15.

Mine is at $15, and they do tend increase a tiny bit during the postseason.
