I usually bet on football, but I'm considering starting to bet on basketball after the Super Bowl. I want to know the difference between football and basketball betting. Also, I read some basketball betting strategies and want to know if they can help improve my chances of winning.

in terms of betting odds, its pretty much the same. some people have a knack for football while totally suck at basketball betting. IMO, it all depends on how well you know the sport. Of course, if you ware looking to make some extra money, you can always buy picks

yeah, I think that it depends on how well you know the sport. Same thing applies about whether NBA is easier to win at then NCAA basketball. From experience, I tend to do much better with the NFL then baseball or any other sports. Also, college basketball has a lot more games to bet on so if you like a lot of action, that's a good one to do

Baseball is really good, and very underrated. Thousands of games in a season, and that does not even count the playoffs. I personally like it more than other sports.

@thirtyfourblue the sheer number of games are overwhelming. Its over a thousand, right?
But its true, baseball betting is the easiest to learn, and I've heard some say that the sport is the gateway sport for betting. I personally like basketball betting, then football betting is a close second. I do tend to stick to pro leagues since there are too much teams to keep track of in NCAA betting.

I tried betting on baseball, and I liked it. I had a winning streak just before the All-Star break. Also, I had fun comparing wagers and parlays with my friends.
