As teams aim to strengthen their rosters and increase their chances of winning the Stanley Cup, the NHL Trade Deadline is a major day of the regular season that can affect the odds of winning the Cup.
However, after the deadline, there are no clear-cut favorites to win the title this year. The Edmonton Oilers, Florida Panthers, and Colorado Avalanche have the best odds of winning the Stanley Cup.
My bet is on the Avalanche.

The Carolina Hurricanes have the best odds at present. On attack for Carolina, Sebastian Aho is the man to beat, with 87 points and 35 goals. The Hurricanes' starting goalkeeper is Pyotr Kochetkov, with a record of 22-13-4. However, three goalies have seen significant playing time this year for Carolina.

Avalanche and hurricanes are both good bets but I think the Oilers will surprise everyone this year. They currently rank second in the Pacific Division, holding a record of 48-24-6. They are just three points behind the Vancouver Canucks for first in the Pacific
