Hello everyone,

I'm in the process of selecting a pay-per-head (PPH) service for my bookie business, and I could use some expert advice from those with experience in this area. Specifically, I'm interested in understanding the essential features and functionalities I should prioritize when evaluating different PPH services.

I’m an avid sports fan and aspiring bookie who loves reading gambling reviews during my spare time.

Most providers offer similar services and features, but here are the functionalities that I use most:

(for this one I'll omit line and player management since these are standard features anyway)

1. Reports. My provider offers options to generate reports using different data points that I need. I download and save them, and its easy for me go through the numbers. It really helps a lot when you want to see where you can improve in terms of getting more action.

2. No Lag. I never had any down time with my sportsbook. Even with adjusting lines, there were never any delays in displaying the changes I made.

3. Security. Like any online business, sites are susceptible to attacks if we don't protect our sites. My provider has all the security features needed, and I've never had a security problem- neither have any of my players.

4. Extra features. This is just extra, but goes a long way with my players. If there are new betting markets, new betting options, and the like, they enjoy trying it out. Mine has a prop bet builder and its a hit.

5. Price versus service. This was the biggest factor I had in deciding. I had a budget I needed to stick to so I opted for one that is affordable. Just read the fine print before choosing a provider because some of them will give you a really low price, which turns out to be a base rate. Like, if you were to add more features like phone betting or live betting or casino games, you will pay more. So that affordable price you saw is not the real price you will get billed for.

Hope this helps.
