So I read somewhere that summer usually is a slow season for sports betting in the US. Is there any truth to this? Not US-centric in mine so I have nothing to compare with.

There's no major sports event during Summer in the US except for the Olympics.

yeah aside from the MLB there is really less events to bet on locally. Usually bettors look to foreign markets like euro soccer for these events. and the Euro 2024 was quite popular. Or maybe it got more attention because the MLS and soccer in general is becoming more popular in the US?
Except for the World Series, my baseball handle can't compete with football and basketball. Yup, I'm seeing more action on soccer markets this year. Hopefully, it will continue to increase year after year.
