The gambling industry is experiencing an unprecedented boom thanks to technological advancements. With advanced tech at their disposal, casinos and online gambling platforms have transformed the way people gamble. The introduction of virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) has revolutionized the casino experience, allowing players to immerse themselves in a realistic and interactive environment.

Moreover, artificial intelligence (AI) has allowed casinos to offer personalized recommendations and tailored promotions to their customers. This combination of advanced tech and gambling creates an exciting and dynamic industry that is continuously evolving and attracting new players.

Do you think the industry is going the right path in implementing new technology? I think advanced technology allows gambling sites to serve players better.

It sure makes it easier on running a sportsbooks and helps make higher profits. however, its one of those things were technology makes old jobs obsolete. As AI become more common, i means less jobs for people in the gambling industry. I read this article about how the future of sports betting is in automation, https://blog.priceperplayer.com/2023/12/28/the-future-of-sports-betting-sportsbook-automation/ which made some good points about tech an AI being what to expect in sports betting

That was a good read. People should not be afraid of AI but learn how to use technology to their advantage. The first people to adapt to the innovations can become more successful in the future.

It depends on how you use AI. If it improves efficiency then by all means, go. But since AI is still in its early stages, I would be more confident for it to "learn more". So right now, AI-guided tech would be the safe option for me.

Getting insights on the sports betting industry from the bookie point of view never ends. Its how we get better.

Exactly. AI-guided is good. And introducing AI might also mean more regulatory measures slapped into gaming practices, so it will be interesting to see when legislators will catch up to tech, if they even will.

Speaking of regulatory measures, the SAFE Bet Act wants to ban the use of Artificial Intelligence in monitoring players' activities, offering microbets, and creating personalized promos.
